Holding on the first two Fridays of every month, the ALS Open Mic gives you the opportunity to sharpen your literary skills through performances and constructive feedback.

ALS Book Club

Third Fridays are reserved for the ALS Book Club. At this event, unanimously selected books are discussed and dissected to criticize, praise and learn from these authors.

ALS Book Jam

Unlike the ALS Book Club, the ALS Book Jam allows you face-to-face interactions with guest authors who get to read from their books. This event holds on the last Fridays of every month.

ALS Poetry Slam

The ALS Poetry Slam is a quarterly event in which spoken word artists from different parts of the country compete for exciting prizes and lasting bragging rights.

The ALS Workshop is scheduled to hold once every quarter. At this event, members gain insight into what it takes to make the best out of their literary and creative pursuits by learning from others.

ALS Teen Talk (Suspended)

Held on the first Saturday of every month, The ALS Teen Talk is a special event targeted at the impressionable young minds of Nigerian teenagers in an effort to set them on the right path towards a successful adult future.
